That would be a virtual hug from me to you. Some regular pretty names here and some new beautiful ones have been keeping the elves over at the Swanky Paper Studio busy these past few weeks. I simply love putting all your names on the Swanky designs. When I design my cards I never know how they will be received. I certainly like them, and thanks to you, I know that you like them too!

Party Party

I love a good party! And better yet, I love hosting parties! I know, I know, it is a lot of pressure to host one, but I never let it get to me.

As long as there is good food and good conversation, you can't lose!

So this weekend I hosted a farewell party for some wonderful friends who are off to Chicago.

Here are the fun invitations I designed

This was by far the easiest party to host because my friend's family took care of all the details. Little did we know when planning the outdoor fete, it would be the hottest day of the year! This being an evening party, the heat was a bit more bearable.

Between the Little Tikes bounce house and the outdoor movie theater, we had enough activities to entertain all the kiddos.

So many wonderful people came. There were lots of great conversations, memories were shared, new friendships were made, and long lost friendships renewed. How's that for a great party?!

Oh! how could I forgot about the food? Thanks to Danny's Hawaiian Style Catering we had delicious food the whole night.

**Now I need to start planning a trip to Chicago!**

they say it is going to be over 100 today! i am taking a break from designing and the kiddos and i are off to play in the water.

as I was blogging about (which is genreally how I find out about really cool things) I came across this super-great gift for any man out there. So what if Father's Day is over! Do you need an excuse to get your man, dad, hubby a little something?

So here is what I found ....

it is called a Chumbucket!

Basically it is a Man-sized deep dish bowl for those who like to eat A LOT!

This is perfect for my hubs because he enjoys a late night meal of cereal. I say "meal" because it is never in a regular bowl, it has to be a large tupperware or mixing bowl.

I need to get this for him ASAP!

i have been busy with a bit of custom work (which i love!) and have turned this blog into something quite uneventful.

i am going to make it up to you I PROMISE!

in between the custom work i have been working on some new designs for the shop and i simply can't wait to show you!

but for now ... i am going to sleep.
